Key Responsibilities.

  • Deliver high-quality personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and social activities to promote wellbeing.
  • Respond promptly and sensitively to call bells and any changes in residents conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and handover notes.
  • Uphold infection control and health & safety standards at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Help create a positive, stimulating environment through conversation and activities.

    Job responsibilities

    The Care Practitioner (Days) is responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents within the home. The postholder will support residents with daily living activities while encouraging independence, dignity and choice.

    Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Care Practitioner will help maintain high standards of care, build positive relationships with residents and families, and contribute to the overall wellbeing and happiness of those living within the home.

    The role requires excellent communication skills, a caring nature and a commitment to providing exceptional support in line with company values, policies and procedures.

    • What Were Looking For
    • Previous experience in a care role is desirable.
    • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to overnight care.
    • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends.
    • A commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining residents dignity.
